When he was 10 he put on a random scuba tank for the first time meeting with a diving instructor on a Belle Isle beach. 40 years and almost 5,000 dives later, the young boy fringing downstairs has become organizer of scientific expeditions, professional diver, seasoned sailor and recognized photographer.

Experience acquired over many years on and under water. Trained in marine biology at the University of Brest, diving federal instructor, he is then turns to the French Navy to take the oceans head-on, there will become a clearance diver.

At the same time, he is passionate about underwater photography and he began to illustrate articles for the specialized press in 1997.

A renown birth and more and more requests, make him choose

civilian retraining.

This is how he was recruited by the cnrs* in 2002 to professionalize the activities maritime births of the European University Institute of the Sea based in Brest especially in scientific diving and underwater illustrations.
